    Admission Details For Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing Sciences, (RIPANS) Aizawl


    Applications are invited in plain paper from the candidates intending to undergo 4 (Four) years Degree in following course ssession 2019-20 at Regional Institute of Paramedical and NursingSciences, (RIPANS) Aizawl, against seats allotted to the Govt.of Assam.

    1. B. Pharm–3 seats
    2. B Sc (N)–3 seats
    3. B Sc - MLT–3 seats
    4. B Sc- RIT–3 seats
    5. B Optometry–3 seats

    Eligibility Criteria:

    1.For admission into B. Pharm course the A.I.C.T.E. AdmissionRegulation specified that Admission in the Degree inPharmacy shall be 10+2 passed in Science stream Examwith a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks in PCB/ PCMand English or passed in Diploma in Pharmacy with aminimum aggregate of 50%. Relaxation of marks by 5% forthe candidates belonging SC/ST/OBC is admissible.

    2.The entry level of B. Sc (N), B. Sc-RIT & B. Optometry shallbe 10+2 passed in Science stream Exam with a minimumaggregate of 50% marks in PCB and English and musthave passed in each subjects. Relaxation of marks by 5%for the candidates belonging SC/ST/OBC is admissible.

    3.For admission into B. Sc-MLT shall be 10+2 passed inScience stream Exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% inPCB/PCM and English as subject’s combination and musthave passed in each of these subjects. Relaxation of marksby 5% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC isadmissible.

    4.The age of the candidate, must be of age group between 17years to 24 years as on 31st December, 2019 and upperage limit is relaxable by 3 (Three) years for ST/SC/OBCcandidates.

    5.The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

    Following information must be furnished along with theapplication:

    1. Name of the candidate (in block letters).
    2. ather’s name.
    3. Mother’s name
    4. Dateof Birth.
    5. Ageas on 31/12/2019.
    6. Permanentaddress.
    7. Marksobtained and year of passing of HS (+2) examination.
    8. Categorylike SC/ST/OBC
    9. Addressfor communication.
    10. Phonenumber.
    11. Percentage(%) of marks in PCB or PCM.
    12. Detailsof marks scored in HS (+2) examination.


    Following  documents duly attested are to be submitted along with the application:

    1. Permanent Residential Certificate.
    2. Addressproof.
    3. Marksheet & Pass certificate of HSLC/CBSE class (X) &HS (10+2) (Sc) examination.
    4. Admitcard or others documents in support of age proof.
    5. A copy of recent passport size photograph.
    6. Caste Certificate (if belong to SC/ST/OBC).


    Documents to be brought at the time of admission

    All nominated students must bring their Original Mark sheet & Certificates for verification. Required documents to be submittedat the time of admission are as follows:

    1. Original copy of seat allotment order.
    2. MedicalFitness Certificate issued by Registered MedicalOfficer.
    3. Attestedphotocopy of Mark sheets & Certificates from ClassX onwards.
    4. STSC/OBC Certificate.
    5. PermanentResidential Certificate.


    How to Apply

    Application in sealed envelope specifying the course with above mentioned information and documents must be dropped in the drop-box available at the office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 (2nd Floor)Room No. 5 on or before 10th June, 2019. 

    Note: Applicationsent by post shall not be considered.
