Send Your Name To Mars- Fly along with NASA
June 03, 2019
How Your Names Will Travel To The Red Planet
At NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, the Microdevices Laboratory will use an electron beam to stencil the names submitted on a silicon chip with text lines smaller than one thousandth of a human hair's width (75 nanometers). Under a glass cover, the chip (or chips) will ride on the rover.
