Nature of Post: Contractual (initially for a period of 1 year)
Pay Structure: Fixed pay Rs.28,829/- per month (consolidated)
Essential qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- Adequate knowledge of computer appiications.
Age: Must not be above 38 years as on the last date of application.
Post: Research Fellow, Population Research Centre, G.U.
No. Of Post: 01 (UR)
Nature of Post: Contractual (initially for a period of 1 year). The selected candidate for the post has to carry out extensive field work, data analysis and report writing etc.
Pay Structure: Fixed pay Rs.28,829/- per month (consolidated)
Essential qualification:
- At least 2nd class Post Graduate Degree in Demography /Population Studies/ statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Sociology from UGC recognized University/ Institution.
- Knowledge of Computer Application and Programming.
Age: Must not be above 38 years on date of application Relaxation in deserving cases.

- Prescribed application form, the details of qualifications & other are availablein the University website - www.gauhati.ac.in. The candidates may download the application form from the above website. Application in any other form will not be accepted.
- Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only by Demand Draft in favour of the "Registrar, Gauhati University" payable at SBI, G.U. Branch as an application fee for the post.
- Completed applications in the prescribed formalong with necessary enclosures must reach "The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-14 latest by 17.02.2020. Two (2) copies of application with all testimonials are needed to besubmitted. The envelope containing the application form must indicate the name of the post & advertisement no.

Self attested copies of Mark-Sheets, Birth Certificate, Educational Certificates and Experience Certificates etc. must be attached to the application.
